The Alphabet is the names of the letters that make up words. Children need to be able to identify and name the Uppercase and Lowercase letters in text before they learn the sounds that the letters make.
The Traditional Alphabet song at a normal speed is quite fast for learning to recognize the Letters in the Alphabet.
To assist your child’s learning of the names of the Uppercase and Lowercase letters, sing the Traditional Alphabet song very slowly with your child and as you sing each letter point to each Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Flashcard (Letter Flashcards).
